What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a retailer URL containing an identifier that can attribute a visit or qualifying purchase to a publisher. When a shopper follows such a link and completes an eligible transaction, the retailer or affiliate network may pay the publisher a commission.
The tracked link normally does not add a separate fee to the shopper’s order. The retailer funds the commission under its program terms. Eligibility windows, product exclusions, cancellations and returns can affect whether any commission is ultimately paid.
How SaversDream uses affiliate relationships
SaversDream may use affiliate links on retailer destinations as one way to support operating costs. A listing can therefore have both a user purpose—helping someone discover an offer—and a commercial relationship. We disclose that relationship because readers should understand the incentive attached to a link.
An affiliate relationship does not make a retailer price accurate, a seller trustworthy or a product appropriate for every person. Users should apply the same independent verification whether a link is tracked or untracked.
What editorial independence requires
Material conditions should not be hidden because they could reduce clicks or purchases.
A commission rate should not be presented as evidence that one product is better than another.
Expired, misleading or unsafe listings should be corrected or removed even when they could earn revenue.
Retailer-provided facts should be distinguishable from SaversDream explanations or community opinions.
Sponsored placement, if introduced, should be clearly labelled rather than disguised as an independent ranking.
Why the price should not increase
A properly implemented affiliate link points to the retailer’s ordinary shopping flow. The retailer determines the product and checkout price. The publisher identifier concerns attribution between the retailer and publisher; it is not a surcharge line added to the customer’s bill.
Prices can still differ for unrelated reasons, including account status, location, selected variant, app-only promotions, cookies or rapidly changing inventory. Compare the final checkout amount rather than assuming the link caused or prevented a particular promotion.
Privacy and tracking considerations
Affiliate attribution can involve cookies, link parameters or network-side records. The destination retailer and affiliate network apply their own privacy terms once a user leaves SaversDream. Users who want to understand the data involved should review those policies and their browser privacy controls.

Returns, cancellations and commissions
If an order is cancelled, returned or judged ineligible by the program, the retailer may reverse or decline the commission. This commercial outcome must not affect the shopper’s right to use the retailer’s published return process.
A shopper should never keep an unsuitable product merely to support SaversDream. Use the remedies available under the retailer terms and applicable law.

Readers can report a broken destination, inaccurate condition, missing restriction or unclear disclosure through the available reporting and contact channels. Include the listing URL and a concise description of the issue so it can be reviewed efficiently.
Commercial transparency is not a one-time footer. It should remain visible enough for a reasonable reader to understand when purchase activity may support the service.
